CameoAppearance Posted May 30, 2019 Share Posted May 30, 2019 I was sailing around near the southwest corner of the map and I found these extra-large, obviously unfinished chunks of wreckage accompanied by some regular-size boat fragments. I was using this world to check out new stuff by screwing around with console commands, so I can conclusively say this wreckage wasn't the remnants of any boat I built; I teleported to the moon island and back with c_gonext(), fought off a lot of hound waves (skipping several days between each) to check out the new zombie hounds, and only then decided to do some boating. The boat in the screenshot is the second one I built after the first one got burnt to cinders by fire hounds. Then they got stuck on my boat, as boat fragments do. (Yeah, I had mods on, but I don't think Shipwrecked Characters, Old Emotes or The Wodger were responsible for this.) CameoAppearance Posted May 31, 2019 Author Share Posted May 31, 2019 I did eventually end up burning the fragments stuck on my boat, and nearly wrecked the boat in the process. I suspect eventually this setpiece will be either a) hints at lore re: people sailing into or trying to sail out of the Constant, b) the site of a boss fight, or c) the DST equivalent of Watery Graves in Shipwrecked/marine equivalent of the graveyard.
