Explanation of questions:
1. The game develops and more and more different items appear - this is good.
But the slots for equipment as it was 3 and remains, while initially the game had the "best in slot" items, which makes many items unclaimed. Therefore, the question is: do we need additional equipment slots (for example, for amulets, masks (gas masks, Weber and Wagstaff glasses), and perhaps for an object in the second hand)?

2. At the moment there are two ways to increase the complexity of the game: 1. Set the settings for generating the world; 2. Take Wes.
But what if you want to play your favorite character together with a novice partner for whom the rigid settings of the world will be fatal? Therefore, the question: "Is it worth entering such an option as setting individual complexity?"
For example, a player with an "easy mod" will be able to build his catapults endlessly for Winona, for Willow to walk on the lava, as once a Jewish boy walk on water, and Wilson, under his control, will choke bosses with his beard.
For a player who chooses a "normal mod" game about "super heroes", get into the game of survival.
And when choosing a "hard mod" any character in its parameters become Wes. He, of course, can have a couple of his characteristic tricks, but no more.

3. Is it possible to give the characters at least some kind of inventory to carry alternative weapons or disposable items (if developers introduce these)?
Inventory can depend on the armor worn, so even bad armor can be claimed because it gives more inventory slots. For example, items that accelerate the reloading of special attacks, can act on all items in the inventory.

4. The characters of popular MOBA games have several active abilities, in DST there is only one, depending on the weapon.
Will it be good if each character in the Forge will have more different abilities (inborn or given by equipment) or let it remain as it is?

The 3 body slots exist to balance out various factors, events and powers. They don't exist to personally annoy you.

Learning the game and falling to first-time traps is a vital part of enjoying DS. You're actually suggesting to take this away.

Forge being restricted to 3 body slots is also a thing for a very good reason.

Forge is not a full fledged game and does not require an entire tree of skill sets. It does not have the necessary depth for this. It's also a good idea to think how much work this would involve for klei and why it's ultimately a waste of man power.

If you're unhappy about all of this, all of your needs can be taken care of on the Workshop.

Having more equip slots is a horrible idea, and we actually know this first-hand due to there being a severely popular mod that adds just that, more equip slots.

Being able to equip a backpack + armor + amulets completely breaks every single chest item beyond overpowered and boring. If you have a single chest slot, you have several options, more inventory, more protection, or more situational buffs if you're some weirdo that uses non-meta items. Simply being able to equip a log suit and a backpack allows you to completely forget about managing your inventory situation-by-situation because screw it, you can just be prepared for any situation.

Let's not even mention how broken it would be to be able to equip a backpack AND something like a puffy vest (240 insulation). If you combine these two items alone, it would singlehandedly make Winter as easy as Autumn.

We only have 3 equip slots for the sake of balance. Any more would make it extremely un-fun. (Not to mention, making the game easier for yourself (ie pumping it with "ez mode" mods) is a surefire way for you to get bored of the game much faster and get less enjoyment out of it overall.)

Call me a veteran elitist all you want.
