Tin Armor and Fancy Hat buff

Tin Armor and Fancy Hat are worse than Football Helmet and Wooden Armor, because they slow you down. Those items should not slow you down that much (or at all) and give slightly higher resistance to damage (85% for helmet and 90% for armor would be fine in my opinion).
At the actual moment they are not worth crafting, these items are bad in themselves and in comparison to Wooden Armor and Football Helmet are even worse!

They're meant to be tank items, not kiting armor like the wooden stuff.

Then why wooden stuff has the same damage resistance as tin stuff? If tin armor and fancy hat are supposed to be tank items then give them higher damage resistance because at this moment those items suck.

He meant tanking as in durability, not damage resistance.

Why bother in gathering tin when I can just chop some trees, collect grass and twigs and kill a few pigs? Just because those items have higher durability it does not make them more useful. Tin armor and fancy hat have more downsides than upsides.

I agree with OP because you have to go through a lot of hassle to make them. They should act like the marble suit of Hamlet.
