How do I get renewable water in the latest update?

I'm struggling to figure out how to water as renewable recourse, if there is a way please let me know.

The best way is to keep starting until you find a map with a decent water or slush geyser.  Failing that if you have a lot of slime around mine it all out and setup a few converters to algae which gives you a fair bit of water run off (be it filled with slimelung).  If slimelung isn't an issue for you setup a slime farm to keep the converters fed.

Also don't use water for food generation if you're low on it.  The best food source hands down is a meat farm of Shove Vole as they give 16k meat per critter, lay eggs like crazy, and eat sand.

The basic way is to find a cool steam vent. Each map is guaranteed 2 of those. They might be far from the starting biome if you are unlucky. There`s also a chance to find other geysers burrowed on the map. There`s a hot steam vent, a hot water geyser, a polluted water geyser and a cool slush geyser possible to be found.

There are also ways to recycle water. Sieving polluted water. You can clean the toilet water, you can distill slime, you can use the carbon skimmer, petroleum and nat gas generators produce water. You can rely on dusk caps for a waterless food source to save some water or ranch critters for meat or eggs.

In general, if you run out of water fast, make a research run for the algae destiller. This provides you with a decent amount of polluted water, as long as you can find slime. This gives you the chance to discover water sources on the map. And when you low on water, delay unnecessary research, because thats a really big water sinkhole.
