Stuff like boots that remove soggy feet debuff. Or a divers suit that removes the sopping wet one (but has negative decor as a compensation). Different colors of snazzy suits for easier dupe indentification. Possibly other bonuses.

But for it to make sense we need a clothes change checkpoint so that dupes can wear the proper thing in the area you want them to. Otherwise it becomes way too much micromanagement to keep them in the right outfit.

I wouldn't go overboard, but I would definitely like to see a few more outfits added.  A wet suit works.  If chlorine is ever made caustic then a hazmat suit would work too.   Way back when jobs were introduce, @watermelen671 posted a bunch of job-specific outfits they dug out of the game files that could have been cool.

I'd love to see some dupe suits that could have stat bonuses, but the duplicant needs to have a specific job to wear them, like maybe if there was an apron suit for the artist, it could increase a dupes creativity, or an athletic suit, that would make duplicants be able to carry more or faster, but only Gofers and such would be able to wear it, but yeah, I think some new clothes would be great!

Don't the hats they wear from their jobs technically achieve this already?

Speaking of hats, I'd also like to see a Stylish Hat option for when you've trained dupes in all of the jobs you want them to learn.  The effects would be like a Snazzy Suit, and wearing both increases the dupe's decor radius.

They do, but since making clothes is kinda optional, I was thinking if you had the spare resources to make skill-improving clothes could be a bonus in the late-game. But hey, I'm just thinking out loud here lol.

There is carbon fiber in the codex. Would be something made out of refined carbon and could be some sort of later game fiber material. Unless it gets used as a construction material ofc.
