Requesting for simple aquatuner setups.

Recommended Posts

Hello guys! (•ω•)

I am getting trouble with liquid cooling. I want some nice small-scale settings for early-stage.

Details

1. Please use as less aquatuners as possible. I cannot afford so much electricity at early stage, especially I uses a slow upward expansion strategy (for finding ice biome) that focuses on tech and self or long term suficiency first but not exploiting resources.

2. It’s demand is only one metal forge.

3. Can afford some insulative tiles using sandstone.

Here's mine that I use on my actual base :

Concept :

I cool the thermo aquatuner with polluted water. When the water become hot, I pump it to the water sieve and inject new polluted water. If you don't have enough use crude oil and refinery.

Material needs :

- Igneous rock for insulation

- Gold for the Aquatuner

- Two coal genator

It should be noted that aquatuner and the metal forge is a terrible combination: the aquatuner is there to move heat from cold to hot in exchange for power. If you are just trying to delete heat, there are much better options, especially if you are short on power.

The metal refinery's coolant can sustain very high temperatures; if the plan is to heat up PWater and then sieve it, just send the PWater directly into the metal refinery. You don't have to pay the electric cost of the aquatuner that way. Similarly, if the plan is to heat up oil and refine it, just use the oil directly as coolant.
