hacksaw12
Did the water on air vent exploit get nerfed? Started with a around 1600g water, each puff of hydrogen reduced the amount of water on the vent. Within one cycle, no water on vent, no water inside the enclosure. Coolthulhu
Try with 2 tiles so that the water can get displaced. Mass reduction happens when the game tries to place an element on a different element and can't move the latter to a neighboring tile. beowulf2010
I haven't seen any issues with either way I store infinite gas. I either have a spot 2 wide with about 1kg in each and the vent in one of the 2 spots. The other way is to go 2 deep like Coolthulu suggested. One caveat is that I use petroleum and it's a bit hard to get the 741kg to have a full block plus 1kg the next block up. Hard? I haven't noticed... every single liquid-locked vent I have has petroleum (usually 300-500g) on top of a full tile and I didn't find it hard to do. Not even annoying. Just have to be careful. I guess I mistyped a bit. I didn't mean that it was hard, as in actually difficult. I just meant that hitting a bit over 740kg of petroleum (a bit less than 3/4 of a 4th bottle) isn't quite as easy as the nice round number of 1000kg (shutting it off immediately after the 6th bottle starts to drain) that water is. hacksaw12
Thanx, I usually use the two wide method, but didn't realize it was critical. Used one wide in this one because the indestructible furniture stopped me from putting a bottle emptier where I wanted it. It turned out to be super easy if you do it in space because you can deconstruct an adjacent tile and a bunch of petroleum would go poof, leaving you with just enough to cover the vent (300-400g or something like that).
