Should We Be Able To Move Rebuild Furnitures?

Should We Be Able To Move / Rebuild Furnitures.

  1. 1. Inspired by a similar voting about movie Thermo nullifier, I wanna know how people think about moving computer, table, chair, mirror, space chandelier, lamp and stuff their spawned by world and can not be moved. Sometimes they are near base and in the way of building. Sometimes I also want to build these nice things.

    • Yes, we should.
    • No, we shouldn’t.

If anything I think we should at least have the option to dismantle them. I have had them spawn pretty much on top of my starting biome, which would force me to either deal with it not fitting the style of my base, or delete it using debug.

I know its super easy to erase with debug, but I have a really hard time resisting temptation when I keep debug enabled, so I tend to keep it turned off to prevent myself from easily using it.

That means anytime I come across some world spawned buildings I cannot deconstruct, I have to save the game, close it, enable debug, reopen the game, delete the objects, save the game, close it, disable debug, reopen game.

It gets really annoying sometimes.

It doesn't even seem like it would be a hard feature to add, considering you can already deconstruct like walls and doors and stuff.

I`m ok with deconstructing those, maybe even getting some refined metal out of it but i don`t see a reason to build them. Like why would you build a non funcional computer station, a table with plastic fruit or an office desk?

How about a middle of the way idea. Some of those things would drop certain artifacts when deconstructed (a bowl of plastic fruit, a computer monitor, gravtias logo, etc) that you could put on the pedestal for the same decor amount the original thing provided.

I would really like to be able to deconstruct these things after they have been inspected.

The pedestal idea is great, you deconstruct the thing and get an "artifact" from the past, and you can display it. Also being able to rebuild the thing elsewhere as a purely decorative item, using the artifact as a necessary component. These items should probably be in their own special category, and you'd get the usual sound effect when you become able to build one, along with an exclamation mark on top of the icon.

This belongs to the suggestions section. I'd totally support it.

I quite like this idea.
