lunazone Posted February 19, 2019 Share Posted February 19, 2019 So it's known that when you discover something it appears on the available options on these, so you don't see stuff you haven't unlocked yet. However, this can be an issue if you've only discovered one of that category, let's say you've only seen Water when you tick it'll also tick "All" and whenever you discover a new resource it'll stay as all. This can be a huge issue because Duplicants may deliver resources to devices that could cause unintended doom to any new players base. It can cause someone to dump Pwater/Chlorine or Slime to somewhere they really don't want it. P-Water was not the issue, because it was pumped to a sieve... but then.... comes the oil. And the whole base went south. (this problem also happenes when bottled polluted water are not discovered yet, they dump those dirty stuff directly into clean fresh water without noticed by me and caused a crises that flooded my base with those...) Yep you have to wait, till you have PD and then set a locker with higher prio for it. Many times, i have to reselect / copy orders, when game advances. Storing mechanism is broken too.. mircomars Posted February 26, 2019 Share Posted February 26, 2019 irc if you check the category all corresponding stuff will be put in, if you open the category and select a single option the newly discovered stuff won't be added. e.g. start of game I set my bins to collect only algae out of the organics tab (and only coal oot consumable ore). this is the only organics I store in general storage. rest keeps lying around til I have compost. for slime I wait til I can either drown it in cold ph2o or built a chlorine chamber (i.e. store slime with bleachstone).
