"I personally set up my glass forge exactly like my polymer press, which is in a cold area with short pipes and a puddle underneat it". Work on your english reading skills buddy. What are you, the tough kid in the school yard of klei forums? . This forum is very nice, I won't have the "I know it all thousands message" guy here will I? ^^ Very surprised this works, and a bit doubtful if I'm honest. A puddle directly under the forge will cool the internal glass storage, typically leading to the first output pipe breaking. Unless you've found some workaround that others haven't. Careful, this guy doesn't take criticism well. He has only made 6 posts in the past 24 hours since he joined and literally half of them are salty attacks on me Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/102256-pipes-for-the-glass-forge/page/2/#findComment-1148869 Share on other sites
Kaabaal
I think everybody here can see it's precisely the opposite ;). So can you I guess! Yeah, it cools it down but if the pipe is short enough it does the job fairly well! The Plum Gate
QoL MkII - glass now takes a while to cool down when it exits the vent pipe ( if this is how you have it set up ), your landing zone is going to get hot pretty quick without countermeasures. Was something changed? I didn't notice anything in the patch notes. It looks like it to me - glass is now very hot after it hits the floor, even when dumping in water. It now seems to respect simulation thermodynamics. It takes even a small blob a while to cool off and also heats any surroundings.
