Rainbowdesign Posted January 12, 2019 Share Posted January 12, 2019 Hei, i would love to see an update that adds missing features: Buildings: Bottler station: a station to get and drop water bottles with pipe in and out and a storage like a reservoir combining the water bottler and emptier with a pipe in and out. Conveyor filter drop shutoff. There is a Mod but this should be in the core game. Other: More things to dress the dupes and give them boni which can be used additionally to the dress: Backpacks, shoes, equipment. Improvements: Make sure dupes dont get stuck outside the base or in a tile. More efficient carrying and building: Dupes should pick up items for more than one job, maybe even carry a small storage around so they don need to run 10 times for 10 ladders. Stop dupes dropping something because they want to do something else. Either finish that job or keep the item and resume the job later. no running around the whole base for some grams of something. I had times dupes did run to the end of the map to eat meat while enough food was in the fridge. refined heavy watt wire should carry much more (like 100kw) Prevent animals from getting entombed by new buildings. Rainbowdesign Posted January 16, 2019 Author Share Posted January 16, 2019 Also i really like to see the new "Feature" removed when a formally accessible recipe disappears again i had a bunch of eggs marked for cracking, when there were no more of the eggs i found that i need that animal again and wanted to stop that but the recipe was no longer accessible. Also sometime you want to give orders to deal with something that has been there and will come soon again. Additionally i would like to see the possibility in the game to build with material that was available but no longer is. Also i like to remove not discovered items on the VERY long filter list in the liquid and gas filter and prioritize items that are in the connected pipe and those frequently used or pumped. A general solution for items that are infrequently used or disappeared could be to deprioritize them so they are always behind other items and mark them as not in stock. or alternatively make an other list. Then one has to bring it ti a bottle emptier, then a pump has to take over, filling a reservoir, and if you need it again, you have to fill a pond and use a pitcher pump. Thats insane. Sure, one could just make a pool, without the pumping into a liquid reservoir, but thats ugly and crude, and easy contaminated with other liquids.
