Tumalu Posted January 11, 2019 Share Posted January 11, 2019 OK, so I was watching a stream and they said Wes moves slower. I was like, huh what I'm pretty sure he doesn't? Well, turns out someone put on the wiki that he moves 10% slower... five days ago. They made an entire new page on the wiki for speed modifiers, too. I checked Wes' character file and it says nothing about speed, but then I tried to cross-reference with Wolfgang (who has varying speed) to be sure and his only speed code is an exception for beefalo riding, so I can't tell if speed is just set somewhere else and everyone else didn't notice Wes is slightly slower until now?? I cannot find ANY reference to Wes' speed anywhere via google except that wiki edit five days ago. I figure Wes PROBABLY doesn't have a penalty if nothing is listed and the wolfgang stuff is just "wolfgang is complicated so it's weird", but I wanted to at least double-check on the forum. In any case, Wes' wiki page has been locked from edits (??), but here it is for reference. Wolfgang's varying speed is caused by his scale: Movement speed is multiplied by scale, so if Wolfgang has a scale of 1.25, his speed will be multiplied by 1.25. Terra B Welch Posted January 11, 2019 Share Posted January 11, 2019 Of course the wiki is incorrect, it's incorrect about WX being immune to the poison in the poison rainforest in hamlet too(The robot still needs a gas mask like every other character!), the wiki also states hes immune to poisonous food like tuber, which he isn't completely, he still looses sanity from food-based poison.
