goldfish911
So some of you may or may not now that I've uploaded GreySloths mods (like MorePlantables) to the Steam Workshop(with his permission). However, after updating the mod's data directory ONCE, apparently no one can download it from the workshop...except for a few...even though they have subscribed and unsubscribed.... boardman94
You are using mod tools right? You are sure that you know how to use mod tools? If both of those are true maybe you could be more specific. What do you do when you update them?Maybe post a link to the steam page. I am indeed using mod tools for mac. I also believe I have been using it correctly, as when updating it, I have only checked "update mod source directory" or whatever. Here is a link to the Steam Workshop page of the mod in question:http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=333063642Some help would be appreciated,a s after I updated it past the official upload it has not been downloading on other people's computers for some reason, and all I have changed between versions is code in the modmain and modinfo.lua files. boardman94
@goldfish911So I just uploaded it to the workshop (hidden of course) and then subscribed to it, and it downloaded just fine. Are you using windows or mac?Maybe try from a different computer.Try re-installing the mod tools. boardman94
Question actually: Should the mod be zipped when uploaded? No, you should not zip the mod. As for the unzipping errors in the log Steam might zip the mods to make the download simpler. From that log I would say that it is something about the way that you are uploading them.Maybe check that you are using the most current version of modtools?I am fast running out of ideas. This is a really weird.

This is a really weird. Okay, for some reason the folder I was using had corrupted files which remained corrupted as I copied them to different locations. I fixed it by just unzipping the old mod's code AGAIN and replacing the files I modified and I got a surge of replies on the workshop saying it works so, yeah. fixed it.
