      Klei Entertainment support staff will be out of the office from December 24th and will return on January 2nd in observance of Christmas, Kwanzaa, Hanukah, Krampusnacht, Holiday, Newtonmas and/or Festivus. During this time; support staff, development, janitorial staff and animal handlers will not be in the office and will instead be in their homes or somebody else's home, doing whatever it is we do when we aren't in the office at this time of the year. Some of us will be around on and off and we will be monitoring servers, tickets and forums to make sure nothing explodes; but we will not be running at full capacity until we return on the 2nd. We have put together some information about our most common issues that should help you. And here you can find a list of resolutions to our most common issues on our support site: https://kleisupport.desk.com/customer/portal/articles/1398961 You can also find a resolution to most tech support related issues or general questions on our forums: http://forums.kleientertainment.com or on the support site at http://support.kleientertainment.com. Generally an answer to most every question you might have can be found in both the support site and forums. If you do not find the help you need on the forums or on our top issues list, send us a ticket on the support site. We will prioritize issues that require immediate attention, so if your issue isn't time sensitive it will take a little longer before we get to it but we might be in the middle of an argument with our Nana that we really do like the the set of fuchsia towels she gave us last year. We just keep them buried deep in the back bathroom closet because they are so nice we don't want anybody to mess them up. Thanks for your patience during this time.   1. I linked my Hamlet world to a nice RoG world. Died fairly while trying to collect a living log to get back to Hamlet via Skyworthy. Now every time I pick up my items at my death spot the game crashes. With or without mods. Tree guards roaming around, moles hanging out eating my stuff. I press space bar, pick up a few things and CRASH.
  2. Category: Gameplay Platform: Steam (Windows) Mods?: No Version Number: 298833 Steps to reproduce: Specifics unknown. Light object/create fire pit or campfire/fuel fire pit or campfire, observe thermal stone temperature and character animations to determine temperature (ie idle or idle shiver) Issue: Fire sources (whether it be burning trees or player-constructed fires) do not provide heat in their proper radius. The radius is much smaller and the heat is much lower. This only affects a single SW compatible RoG world, and I have been unable to recreate it in other SW compatible RoG worlds or standard RoG worlds. It should also be noted that another irreproducible bug is present in the form of birds dropping seeds in winter. In the images below, console commands were used to create the fire pit and thermals stones used. The first picture is the affected world. The second picture is a non-shipwrecked-compatible RoG world used for reference.

  4. Hi there, just bought hamlet and while I was playing SW, the screen just blacked out to LUA error and now I'm not able to access DS in any way. I've tried installing/ uninstalling RoG, SW and Hamlet but not able to play any of them (be it RoG + Hamlet or RoG + SW). Here follows the log file from the LUA error, hope it helps! Never mind, it started working out of the blue after i only installed Hamlet, played with it and then did the same with the other two DLCs! Sorry for bothering!
  5. If i build the skyworthy and travel to shipwrecked i spawn at the Seaworthy but i do not spawn at a Skyworthy when traveling to hamlet. I wanted to play like ohhh no i am trapped here (ROG), escape by building a boat = seaworthy. got shippwrecked in shippwrecked. realise that the fog is trapping me and try then to build the skyworthy. So why spawning a seaworthy in shippwr. but not skyw. in hamlet when teleporting ? i would like to turn it of in world settings or have to find a new wreck in shippwrecked to build a new seaworthy for return. Btw is it canon that you can switch worlds? and if yes how does it work. Is it rly a magic teleporter or are you building a real boat/ballon and are traveling? It would be awesoem to build a real boat fill it with your stuff and then you are shipwrecked with random chances to find stuff you packed nearby and on other island in crates.
  6. Dear fellow survivors, dear game developpers, I would like to address an issue regarding consistency problems related to traveling between worlds. The first issue has already been adressed in another post and is minor -compared to the other one- in my opinion. This is that the seaworthy only allows to travel between rog and sw while the skyworthy allows to basically go everywhere, which is weird because for instance when you go from hamlet to an existing rog world where there already is a seaworthy there - but not a skyworthy - then you will spawn near the seaworthy. The second issue is the consistency of the traveling mechanism regarding former worlds. I wanted to connect my RoG-SW which I had for a long while (2 years I'd say) and turns out that I can. Somewhat. I started a hamlet world and when I finally was able to craft the skyworthy, which I did, I could connect the hamlet world to my existing RoG-SW world (provided my character in the other world was in RoG and not SW for some reason). The problem is, there is no coming back. In previously generated world, there are no deflated balloons to hammer to get the silly can, and there is no coming back since (see my first point) the seaworth does not allow to go to hamlet. So basically you're trapped in RoG-SW. Since my base is in RoG, I had this idea that maybe if I jumpworld in SW, the world generation would generate the deflated balloon, but I tried and it doesnt. It seems that since this world is already connected to RoG, it only generates a seaworthy. And when I tried to seek for the deflated balloon using the console command, the prefab does not even appear in the autocomplete bar on the right, which could mean the game does not even know it exists in this save. However, if you start in Hamlet then travel to SW, there will be both a seaworthy to travel to RoG and also a deflated balloon, which means it is definitely possible and intended to travel between the 3 different DLCs. I would really like the developpers to clarify what they intend with this traveling mechanism, and to fix the inconsistencies that are related to it. The fact that this is possible to connect all 3 dlcs is definitely awesome, yet it would be pointless if it does not actually work with former worlds, since a lot of players (me included) have bases / megabases which they wont rebuild from scratch in order to have access to hamlet content. Feel free to share your thoughts on the matter.
  7. Started a Hamlet compatible ROG world. Couldn't find any totally normal trees, hopped to next ROG world and have found two. Not enough living logs to make both the shadow manipulator and the skyworthy. Are there less totally normal trees now? Is this my bad luck? Is there any way to get living logs without chopping down a totally normal tree?

    Wondering if I use the Seaworthy from SW to RoG or the other way around, will it cause the seasonal bosses or hounds to spawn right as you enter like the caves do? I'm also wondering if you pre-craft something like a obsidian pit can you take it to RoG? Thanks!

    This mod introduces electricity and machinery to Don't Starve Do you want to fight Maxwell? Do you want to show the shadows who's boss? No revolution is complete without Coal and Electricity! If you agree with the above point, then this mod is like made for you. It introduces electricity and machinery to Don't Starve, without (wanting to) ignore its amazing feel of uncertainity and artistic developement. Modules Unlike most mods, this one is split up into several modules. As such, you can install the parts you want and don't need the rest! Furthermore, updating is easier. And of course this allows for third-party modules, the Treeslacoil by @Corrosive for instance. The following official modules are currently available: BASE brings electricity itself. This is the core mod, you need to install it. CRAFTWORKS allows advanced crafting. Being cheaper, but more complicated, this mod is ideal for whoever is concerned about resource management. UTILITY is tool- and survival-orientated. It offers electric alternatives for most basic elements needed to stay alive. MILITARY brings weapons, armour and miscellanious combat entities. This is what you want if you came here thinking of laser guns, power fists and electric fence. Robotics is not functional. Use at your sole discretion. Documentation If you install and enable Tomes of Knowledge, you can find or craft an in-game guide. It magically scientifically expands with updates. It should give you the idea, and is highly recommended. For more detailed information, read the changelogs or the source code. The old documentation thread is here. You might enjoy reading this story as well. Compatibility All modules are compatible with DS base and DS RoG. They are also compatible with ShipWrecked, though some things might not work, as this is not a high priority. DST support is possible in future but unlike as it stands. Industrial Resolution includes minor World Generation stuff and edits some game objects. In general, it should be 100% compatible with any other mod. If you notice problems in this regard, please do not hesitate to inform me!     I got question about these two skins. Like most of people have bought DS collection editor with SW and RoG dlc and i was wondering like i havent still got these skins as gifts for owning these 2 dlcs if there is way like gift codes? I have heard you can do that trough pc but now no. Bec it will come automatically for you in pc.     this mod brings Wark the Chocobo to the original "Don't Starve" along with its DLC's "Reign of Giants" and "Shipwrecked" Wark the Chocobo was originally created by @Spotteh for DST and you can get her fantastic DST version here https://forums.kleientertainment.com/files/file/1022-dst-wark-the-chocobo/ the real point of this mod existing is due to me not having DST but wanting to be a chocobo...so using @Dleowolf's example character template mod alongside Spotteh's fantastic character art and with massive coding help from @BraveChicken! I'm happy to say that she's ready for the world to enjoy! now for her stats! 60 HP 50 Sanity 300 hunger Wark is "mortified of darkness" meaning her sanity will drop like a brick in water the minute it gets dark, although its a slower drain at dusk Wark "loves fire" and is "fireproof" meaning that she needs to stay around light sources like fire to keep her sanity up! her fire range has been set so that she doesn't have to stay too close to a fire-pit to get the sanity effect! also light sources are larger with her so its easier to see (and I find it to be more realistic)...I don't have to explain fireproofing do I? Wark has custom items! Chocobo Satchel Chocobo Translator the satchel is a fancy backpack styled from the "Chocobo Dungeon" video games while the translator actually lets her speak! and is styled from "Final Fantasy Unlimited" Wark is VERY fast! and she's built to be a "glass cannon" type of character she's support to be like a treasure hunter or archeologist but I'm too lazy to write the extra custom speech text ATM so thats for a later release! pros fish in ponds with flower petals run super fast hit 3x harder gain sanity around fires can walk through fire unharmed does not need a science machine takes longer to burn or freeze comes with backpack/translator/thuelculite pickaxe can eat monstermeat without heath damage custom voiced with ACTUAL Chocobo sounds (that I got from a limited edition sound effect track disc) will be updated for play-ability in Hamlet once its released and I know how to make it compatible! custom intro for DS and ROG (can't figure out how to do it for SW yet) cons hunger drain at 1.3 decrease so she gets hungry faster then normal 60 HP means she can be oneshotted by MANY bosses/beefalo sanity will be reduced to 0 in less then 20 seconds after nightfall harder to warm up or cool down due to long times to freeze or fry impossible to survive in caves/extended winter (prove me wrong) can't speak without the translator and will make bird sounds instead surprisingly hard to keep sanity up still needs an alchemy engine you need to choose between carrying stuff and speech ("unless you have "backpack+amulet" mods enabled in which case she's been custom coded to detect such mods and work with them") I plan on making her HAMLET compatible once Hamlet is released! once again the art and name are NOT my own! they're Spotteh's! and if there's any complaints or problems from her with me having this mod up then I will take it down immediately thanks for reading and enjoy being a Chocobo!

And who is the genius whom coded in literally all of War's functions? Why, that man is @DarkXero! This man had coded in an enormous amount of code and i honestly can't thank him enough. War's pro's: *War can not only continuously sail on water, but he creates waves during the process! *War is able to literally go out of bounds (going too far may cause a crash, just sayin') *War has the ability to trample over things, just like giants! *War is able to devour everything and anything *War is a living divining rod (press G to toggle that function) *War never freezes nor burns *War can't overheat nor get cold *War has night-vision *War doesn't get hurt and his health is literally gibberish *War does not starve *War does not lose sanity *War does not inflict pain when it comes to small weaklings *War does not flinch upon being hit by monkey **** *War is not effected by spider webs *War can literally kill the master on the throne *War has a custom intro! *War will be struck by lightning upon moving from world-to-world! *War is a killing machine *Custom Maxwell intros for all 6 chapters! *War's ability to become a living divining rod will automatically trigger in adventure mode *War has 3 extra inventory slots War's con's: *War cannot equip any items *War will inflict pain upon being hit by Giants *Upon throne death, the world gets immensely ****** up *War does not speak *War can't sleep, similarly to Wickerbottom *War can't use items for anything but to eat them *Upon throne death, War will be constantly hunt down by them *War has seen some **** I guess you could say that this fag has 2 purposes. 1. it makes life easier for those whom suck at don't starve. e.g. me. 2. its coding could be used for those whom aren't so skilled at coding when makin' a mod i guess. But again, i cannot thank @DarkXero enough. What makes me even more thankful is how all of these functions were done by him and only him. i'm not even exaggerating. i was surprised and baffled how he had the patience to stay by my side with this mod from beginning to end. i genuinely am honored to have been able to work with this man, and i really wish to make this man about as happy as i. so please, give this man some recognition and some praise by following him. please, i beg of you.
