  2. Tinting objects?

    I've finally figured out how to modify existing things in the game such as rocks and their loot after reading some source code of this game, but now I'd like to modify it so that the existing rock boulder contains only one kind of loot and has a tint. In this case it's gems, so instead of it being able to drop any gem, I'd like to make it drop only one gem and it should remember which gem it has no matter what you do (exit the world, get into it again and etc). Is that possible to do? I know that I could just randomly pick the tint and loot (if tint is possible) in AddPrefabPostInit, but it's just for when the object is created at runtime in world I'd assume, and so it's not persistent, does anyone know anything that I could use for this? Unless I am mislead and it modifies the actual prefab itself which means that every single object will be exactly the same no matter what. EDIT: Example - gold rock is now slightly tinted orange and will drop a single orange gem along with it's normal loot, but a gold rock (the "rock2" prefab) right next to it could be tinted red and drop a red gem, I can do the loot part, at least I think I understand how modifying of the object works already, but not tinting, or changing individual objects randomly only once, and for other times persisting what was generated.

I have played don't starve for quite some time now and it has come my attention that there is a few problems in this game but i'm only going to mention one in particular, the glitch i am informing Klei is a glitch that only occurs upon entering and or exiting the caves, i'm not sure whether or not its entering or exiting the caves but i am pretty sure it is entering as during the start of Autumn it became cold in the caves and upon exiting to my surprise it had become winter. This glitch happens on vanilla don't starve, RofG and shipwrecked though i have not experimented to see if it does on shipwrecked but i believe that it does as i have seen other people informing klei that it does effect the seasons. when i said experimenting i mean i have played a while trying to figure out why it is doing this but still irritates me to find out that the glitch is sill in full effect and has been for almost a full year, i would be extremely grateful if Klei would please patch this and i really hope Klei hasn't forgotten about don't starve for the console and hope for later content on the console. thank you

For the record, I don't have the Shipwrecked DLC; I've been debating whether to get it now while it's on sale or wait and see if it gets any cheaper during December(I scored Reign of Giants for $1.24 so that's what I'm holding out for for SW). Yet when I booted up the game today this is what I saw. Was this a recent update I'm not aware of or what's going on?   5. Hi all. I haven't seen anything specific mentioned on the wiki, so I'm asking here - after constructing the seaworthy in RoG, should the Shipwrecked seaworthy lead back to it? I made mine in the ruins, hoping to be able to quickly reach pseudoscience station, and so on.. Instead, going through the seaworthy in shipwrecked spawns me at the forest level, at the sinkhole where I was before descending into caves. Had I known that, I obviously would have picked a better place on the surface.
  6. I always hated her, she was just unfair and impossible to defeat without cheesing with her 30 attacks every second and her 7829349099999 splash damage attack. However, I've seen some videos where she doesn't get into her enraged form that quickly, has she been nerfed? Is she now more fun to fight or are these guys simply using mods and the console to their advantage?
  7. I've been having a blast playing the game lately and I dig all the new things in the beta. I've seen videos of people's bases in ROG with craftable items from SW. I placed coffee plants in my ROG base just fine, but I was hoping to get an obsidian fireplace (which I made in SW and didn't place, hoping I could put it in ROG) and a palm leaf hut in there at least. Is there a mod for this or can this function be added to the game?

    This mod introduces electricity and machinery to Don't Starve Do you want to fight Maxwell? Do you want to show the shadows who's boss? No revolution is complete without Coal and Electricity! If you agree with the above point, then this mod is like made for you. It introduces electricity and machinery to Don't Starve, without (wanting to) ignore its amazing feel of uncertainity and artistic developement. Modules Unlike most mods, this one is split up into several modules. As such, you can install the parts you want and don't need the rest! Furthermore, updating is easier. And of course this allows for third-party modules, the Treeslacoil by @Corrosive for instance. The following official modules are currently available: BASE brings electricity itself. This is the core mod, you need to install it. CRAFTWORKS allows advanced crafting. Being cheaper, but more complicated, this mod is ideal for whoever is concerned about resource management. UTILITY is tool- and survival-orientated. It offers electric alternatives for most basic elements needed to stay alive. MILITARY brings weapons, armour and miscellanious combat entities. This is what you want if you came here thinking of laser guns, power fists and electric fence. Robotics is not functional. Use at your sole discretion. Documentation If you install and enable Tomes of Knowledge, you can find or craft an in-game guide. It magically scientifically expands with updates. It should give you the idea, and is highly recommended. For more detailed information, read the changelogs or the source code. The old documentation thread is here. You might enjoy reading this story as well. Compatibility All modules are compatible with DS base and DS RoG. They are also compatible with ShipWrecked, though some things might not work, as this is not a high priority. DST support is possible in future but unlike as it stands. Industrial Resolution includes minor World Generation stuff and edits some game objects. In general, it should be 100% compatible with any other mod. If you notice problems in this regard, please do not hesitate to inform me!
