Yeah I think that's a bug that's been happening for a while try reporting it

I can survive forever right now without worrying about my base burning down in summer or 3 different giants coming to destroy everything. There is pig guards to help me with the "hounds". Volcanos dont rain down magma rocks on my base. I have money for any emergency situation where any of my 3 stats need to be refilled. It's not harder.
