you don't need gantry if you have jetsuits. also autosweepers deliver stuff to rockets (just be sure that autosweeper covers middle bottom tile of rotcket part to which you want to deliver)

You can have a ladder just right above. But only if there is no module above. The gantry is the easiest practical option.

Actually tried the sweeper arm beforehand. Didn't work for some reason, even with proper placement.

Running multiple gantries isn't too bad actually. If you have an automation to retract them, just put in a buffer gate for 5s between them. Each gantry will then retract 1 at a time, and save you the wiring hassle. Unless you already wired it up for a million watts, then do whatever I guess.

I only use normal high conductive wire for most things leading out of my generators.

I use individual controls on each gantry. The clock-sensor can be used in space for that.

I actually went with the automation switches because my dupes were often too stupid to do it themselves, lol.
