Daazx
Let me get started by saying that I LOVE the new Hamlet dlc so far I haven't been able to put it down since I first got it a couple days back but, I hate the sneezing mechanic. At first I was intrigued it was something completely different from any other season mechanic that came before it however, it quickly got old as my character was constantly sneezing and I kept constantly having to stop and pick up all the stuff that I dropped not to mention that at times the yellow overlay over the screen can make it very difficult to see whats going on. I get that Klei wants to change things up but, I feel like the sneezing doesn't add much in terms of gameplay but instead takes away as it's so damn annoying. I like the sneezing, Klei added a original mechanism, you are not used to that. Often the players are surprised or do not like the new mechanisms, because it is new and not used. Mullematsch
What is even the counterplay to the first hay-season? I was not able to get the gas mask because I found only one stupid bird and he killed himself in the jungle and my whole first island had only four nettle plants. On the second island, all the nettle plants were not ready to be harvested. So I guess I will have to sneeze for a season

Chop as many of them as you can that are big enough to drop seed pods.. replant all of these near your base and they'll be ready to cut down again by the time sneezing season starts. The seed pods aren't a perfect cure, you need lots of them, but since you can use a TON of wood in the early game, I find it much easier than stressing finding neetles by the 1st sneezing season. Oh, I had no idea. Have mostly been playing without looking up anything. Nice, I will be able to survive of those and I already made the sprinkler and everything, so second hay-season should be easy! metallichydra
the seed pods prevent hay fever for more time if you cook them before eating them

So I guess I will have to sneeze for a season 1- Nettle ( from other islands ) 2- You don't have to kill the peagawk to get it's feather, they will extinct at some point if u do that. you can right click to pick one feather ( do it at night ) or you can corner it 3- cooked tea tree seed pods are also a great way but you have to stock up on them
