Needs 250-300 kg of refined metal and 55 kg of plastic to be crafted. Also acts as a smart battery. I use this setup in my base all the time, and it essentially functions as a UPS without any extra maintenance or worry. From my point of view it would be superb to be able to connect those with a 100KW or 200 KW mains cable, 3 tiles wide. If this powerstation cable requires multiple metals to manufacture, it would be something nice for the end game. Playing without debug I used to have 20x to 40x 2KW converters in my maps, so a single 20 KW converter with multiple outputs would be a nice addition.
