GuacBoy
This is the second time I've lost a decent game to entering a dungeon room, walking a few steps in, and getting shot with blowdarts to death because a scorpion stepped on the pressure plates. It feels really uninteractive and an awful way to die. Please either remove creatures from trap rooms or make them walk over pressure plates without triggering them. Szczuku
If a single stick can activate presure plate responsible for closing/opening giant stone door then it's only logical that big scorpions can as well. For real though. That's exactly why these rooms exist. To kill unprepared player. I've also died by blowdart but it was because I ran into the room without even thinking Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/98524-creatures-should-not-trigger-traps/#findComment-1114370 Share on other sites
mr.Hazard
it prevents you from running through the ruins with no resistance. the entire point of the DLC is make DS a dungeon crawler and sim city type game while retaining vanilla mechanics. the moving mobs reset the doors, trigger traps and more if you don't take care of them and that's a perfectly fine feature. JimmyThornseed
I love that they trigger the traps. Scorpions get shot up by darts -- it's funny. When the traps clear the rooms for you. What shouldn't happen is your crawling horrors triggering traps. They really shouldn't even exist in this dimension, how are they tripping traps?
