It's considered darts since Webber can use them, but weirdly enough, they do not seem to get anything from Willow's explosive and fire damage buff. Meleeing with the crystals will cause it to light up in your hand until it explodes on its own. While it's charging you can't toss it or the time resets. So throw it immediately after it procs.
