I was thinking more like the consumable menu for compostable. Just check the ones you want to compost and when ever they drop to the trash pile they go. On this topic I think balm lily flowers, reed fibers, and gas grass should be compostable.

Yep, something like the feeders for critters, where we could check what compostable ingredient the building should accept, so that duplicants could pick it up when they have some.
