Help with PO2 Production

Recommended Posts

I need some help with polluted oxygen:
I want to build an puft farm, to farm slime for my mushroom (not that i really need to do that due to all slime in the map, but... i want to build that).

How can i generate sufficient polluted oxygen to fed them using polluted water? Someone know how to maximize PO2 production?

What i do actually is a simple pool with PW with a gas pump  pumping all PO2 to the pufts, but i think it is a very ineffective process. How can i optimize the PO2 production?

Thanks!

Either increase pw beyond 1000kg per tile, or use bottled pw.

If you can handle the eventual lag morbs in some small amount of liquid is still the best one. I wonder if the lag is all that much more than something that is sublimating.

If you are doing a single ranch then 24 morbs is enough and won't cause much lag (placing morbs in a small amount of water no longer works)

polluted dirt emits polluted O2 very slowly, wouldn't count on it being effective

I have a slush geyser and in need of pure water. Pretty much churns out a lot of polluted dirt. You'll get a room full of compactors filled to the brim with polluted dirt since it evaporates slower than one sieve could produce it. Granted that this was only one ranch with 3 pufts at a time.

you have potential for a good dirt farm there, 2 compost piles per water sieve

be a good way to keep sleet wheat supplied

Ah so that means morbs are slower. Ah well.

25g/s per morb so the general rule is 6 morbs per puft
