InternetGuy
That seems like a little broken but if you're at that point, I guess it makes little difference. It makes a huge difference. Wolframite is more rare than abyssalite. I have no clear picture of the late game cause I don't get to the late game but niobium is still rarer than wolframite in space, right? You and i are taking about different things. I'm responding to the topic title. You are referring I'm guessing to the 45kg of tungsten that becomes niobium upon crushing. I wish we could choose something other than gold for the oxylite refinery and tungsten for this thing. Fischer_L
As far i see at my current game - wolframite - is the only finite resource in game... But i didn't visit all planets, so it may be hidden... I don't think we're in the same forum topic here. We are still talking about tungsten (hence wolframite) being turned to niobium, right? Glassyfo
Yep. Your point? The recipe being limited to only tungsten makes a huge difference to not being limited. Yoma_Nosme
I just googled ''tungsten from space'' (just for fun)....you'll never guess what Google replied...try it out yourself ...that's really off topic Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/97323-is-niobium-limited-to-tungsten-only/#findComment-1102192 Share on other sites
KittenIsAGeek
The problem is they only really work against stationary targets, its expensive to get Heavy Stuff up into space, and.. if you don't use them, the eventual decay of their orbit could end up being literally Tons of Trouble. Joe movie I ever saw featured "Tungsten from Space"~ (I'm actually surprised that I even remembered the metal) In any event, information sure is scarce, in this thread and in general about what the many ??? may be which those many destinations have. Due to tech being tech and ONI being ONI, I could only discover Abyssalite and Isoresin on the first tier so hell if I know if Thermiumite and Niobium can be found anywhere and what recipes there may be. At least there is Steel on T3 and that's all I want (ofc, I dunno if those are actually randomly generated since even the % varied between saves of the same seed). I got 8% isoresin, 2% niobium and 10% isoresin, trace amounts of fullerene on my closest 2 asteroids. Seems like the type of asteroid is always the same but the percentages and rare components are varied.
