Preview version You will be able to play the new content patch on Thursday October 4th around 10:30 AM - 11:30 AM Pacific (05:30 PM - 6:30 PM UTC). Release version Two weeks after, Klei will release the patch so on Thursday October 18th around 10:30 AM - 11:30 AM Pacific (05:30 PM - 6:30 PM UTC). How can I know the patch is available? Klei Entertainement create a special topic when the patch become available on this forum named like this : Name Upgrade Testing Branch Now Open So you just have to wait on this forum so see this topic pop up. No Stream no patch? Klei Entertainement alway present the Preview branch few hours after the release, on : Thursdays at 3:30 PM Pacific (10:30 PM UTC) So it can be Friday depend of your time zone. Where is it?https://www.twitch.tv/kleientertainment Where can I get the patch? The patch (Preview Version) will be available in the Steam Beta Branch of the game : How to change branches in Oxygen Not Included (Steam) In Steam, click on Library > Games. Scroll down to Oxygen Not Included. Right-click and select Properties. Go to the BETAS tab. In the dropdown, select the name of the branch you want to play. In this case, the branch name is "rocketry_upgrade_testing" This branch does not require a password. In that same Properties window, go to the Local Files tab and press "Verify Integrity Of Game Cache." Your game will be updated to the the previous branch. Launch and play Oxygen Not Included For more informations concerning the Preview version working you can find a FAQ in the link above. On the one hand I appreciate the information, as always, but on the other hand I feel that I entered one of those youtube videos with clickbait because I came to the post waiting to see information about what's new in the new patch. Also, just in general, you should also add the fact that Steam doesn't push app updates until after 10:00 AM Pacific Time. And sometimes they don't stream the new upgrade preview as soon as it drops. It honestly depends on whether or not they want to pimp new developments on their other upcoming games.
