circuitry HELP

i need someone whos an expert in circuitry;

im trying to make a 5 second delay to turn on power sequentially for my bunker doors.

i tried making a delay gate by combining a buffer gate and a filter gate but it just stays on -im bad at circuitry.

can someone please paint me a picture or setup a premade diagram so i can see it?

Are you trying to close the doors 5 sec after a meteor detection or open them 5sec after the end of the meteor shower ?

im trying to split the voltage so the doors dont open or close all at once and cause a overload in the circuitry, i suppose opening them 5 sec after a meteor shower sounds about right.

You need this. The filters are each set to 5s, and the buffers are set to a cumulative 5s. (I left out the first 0s buffer as it seemed superfluous).
