building air sieve like water sieve

there is a water sieve can purify polluted water into the water by pipe, but there is not any air sieve with gas pipe input and output, you need to build a room and discharge the pollute oxygen into it then use some air filtration to convert them, then charge them with a pump, it tedious.

The air deodorizer is better for regular usage in your base since it doesn`t require any pipes. Just plop and forget.

A system that filters air like the sieve might be useful but in most current designs you are producing clean oxygen anyway. There isn`t that mauch reason to use this kind of a building and even less if you want to ranch pufts. Then again it might be useful in certain scenarios.

I think you’ve got one. Putting deoxidyzer in a chamber and send a pipe in and a pipe out. Isn’t that like sieve?

Require extra air pump(or 2), gas filter(since polluted and clean oxygen in room would be mixed, need separate to pump clean oxygen from room), need door so duplicant enter inside and refill sand in deodorizer, occupied a lot of space.

Also polluted oxygen can be purified by liquefaction, no deodorizer and sand needed, no duplicant operation required...

But for casual players better have dedicated device.

The chamber I mentioned was just my joke. I never purify PO2 that way. Fact purify PO2 is easy, you just need one deoxydizer in open area and it will clean all the PO2 in its entire row and its adjacent rows. For casual players, this is 0 pipe, 0 chamber, 0 pump, only take 1 tile, super small.

how about germ you might ask? If the area of PO2 is outside, Slimelung will die in O2, so clean PO2 before letting dupes in. If the area is inside the base, besides cleaning it the same way, the fact that you let large amount of Slimelung in already means you did something really wrong.
