Pseudotriakis
I'm finding it very difficult to keep track of and manage pressure (particularly air pressure). An overlay would be a lot more helpful than just seeing very specific numbers for where I'm hovering my mouse. Also, I spent my first 20 hours of play thinking that the sub-priority system had "1" as highest priority (ala "first priority", "number one priority", generally meaning highest) rather than "9" as highest, before finally noticing the little tooltip that specifies that 9 is highest. So I've spent a lot of time being frustrated that my duplicants were inexplicably ignoring tasks even when I set them to what I thought was highest priority, though in fact I was setting my most important tasks to be treated as least important. If other people are making my same assumption, I'd suggest flipping the system so that 1 is highest and 9 is lowest, or, if I'm just a minority of confused people (or if this is a regional difference?), making the tooltip more prominent and/or including it in an obvious tutorial popup. Loving the game so far! Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/95550-add-pressure-overlay-clarify-sub-priority-number-system/ Share on other sites

For oxygen pressure the oxygen overlay is pretty useful; light blue means it`s ok. Regular vents, deoxydizers and electrolizers won`t go over 2kg (actually it`s around 1,8 or something). This means that as long as you are producing enough oxygen you won`t overpressure. Places most likely to overpressure are around gas vents (over 4kg causes popped eardrums) and places where you put a high pressure vent. other than that the pressure stuff is easy to manage imo. But i`m not against a new overlay. More clarity is always good. Slvrsrfr
the idea of a pressure overlay is good to me. Hikahi
Necroing this thread because I went looking to see if anyone else had suggested this before creating my own thread. I have dupes with popped eardrums and I can't figure out where they are getting it. The only geyser I currently have uncovered is sealed in and the door is locked, and nothing else is obvious so it's driving me crazy. I'd also like to see a 'gasses' overlay instead of just 'oxygen', as sometimes I have a mix of two different non-oxygen gasses that are hard to see (tempshift plates pretty much make the gasses invisible) and having to roll my mouse over every square to see if I've fully cleared one out is frustrating. Alfons100
I like the pressure overlay, red is high pressure, blue is low pressure. But another that would fit well is a more distinct "Gas" overlay that shows with bright colors what gas is what, it is hard to tell sometimes that there is some gas seeping in. Oxygen Overlay technically is both at the moment, but only for Oxygen.
