How to land rockets safely?

I have some bunker doors above my rocket. For take-off, I open them or wait for non-meteor times. But what for landing? There seems to be very little warning and no way to automatize opening the doors or delaying the landing.

Does anybody have a solution for that? If not, I guess we will have to wait for Rocketry II to make this work well...

I think they are going to add a manual landing button. They had one on a special build during the last livestream.

they should modify the meteor sensor dish to detect incoming rockets as a toggleable (meteors|rockets)

They also had the gantry art included, and no temp art.

You make 3 cycle / distance...If you know when the rocket was leaving you will know when the rocket will arive
