Dislodging Entombed Animals

I am playing an early game colony and I am trying to build a structure in the caustic biome, but I keep trapping drekkos in walls.  I would rather not kill them and I don't have any ranchers yet.  I could deconstruct the tile and try again, but it could just happen again.  I would like a way to dislodge animals in tiles without wrangling them

That's better.  I was thinking that was worse because people used to purposefully trap animals in tiles, but I think all the benefits of that are gone now.

i think you have to have the debug file (but no need to press backspace) you can alt+Q them out. (select the critter/dupe/item and then move your mouse pointer to where you want them to go and hit alt+Q) not a "real" solution, but can save a life

That is what I do currently, but I don't like using debug in survival mode.
