suicide commando Posted August 31, 2018 Share Posted August 31, 2018 Lava is very hot, this heat can be used in a variety of ways, Up till now, it was often used for boiling oil into Natural gas, creating crazy amounts of power this way, this is sadly no longer possible, but you can use it to boil oil into petroleum with a more controlled setup, thus giving you a 1:1 conversion of oil to petrol, instead of 2:1 with the refinery, which also requires dupe operation to work, whereas boiling it can be automated. Other things that can be done with it is to heat up water/steam for steam turbines, boil polluted water into clean steam, etc. Pretty much any reason you'd want to heat something up, you can apply lava to it.
