socooo
I use the Mechanical door to make the bubble. At the same time, gas get into the bubble, then the bubble have to rise to the surface of the liquid. This is also useful for Steam turbine. video:https://www.bilibili.com/video/av27416133/?p=
Sevio
Does this not destroy liquid, since the bottom of the 2 liquid tiles in that mechanical door has nowhere to go? If no liquid/gas is destroyed, this could be an interesting alternative to the door pump especially if you need gas to go up.

The Flying Fox
Oh, another neat find! I like it! I've found that the original configuration of airflow tiles 2 high along the sides only produced a bubble that was about 10% of the pressure of the original room. But, tweaking it to something like this produces a bubble that's 50% pressure of the original room. By using the selection tool, I could see that apparently no steam or petroleum was being destroyed. Unfortunately, you keep getting the 'Flooding' message popping up constantly.
Soulwind
Admittedly cool, but a regular door compressor would most likely work better.

What did you set your automation to that allowed enough time for the system to reset and then produce another bubble?

The filter gate I set for 5 seconds, and the buffer filter for 1 second and the door was powered. Unfortunately, since the door floods, it still closes at the slower speed which is why the filter gate is set for 5 seconds. I also found that it's important to have more then two full tiles of liquid to start with. Otherwise, if there isn't still some liquid over the door when it closes, the liquid in the door does get destroyed. At least this happened to me one time. @Soulwind And yeah, you're right, a normal door compressor can move a bunch of more gas around and I don't think this design can actually vacuum out a space. At least, not as fast as a regular door compressor can. But, at least, it might be an option for people to use if they don't like door compressors? I wonder if a more complex design could be made that can trap a larger bubble air to force up through the column.
socooo
the video has two parts, one is to show, another is to apply 7 hours ago, Denisetwin said: What did you set your automation to that allowed enough time for the system to reset and then produce another bubble? if no power,4s and 4s. if power,2s and 2s. power can greatly improve efficiency, but without power, more steam, more efficient . 10 hours ago, The Flying Fox said: Oh, another neat find! High pressure oil is more efficient. that the oil will compress the steam to only one case
