Dupes not planting seeds ?????

Why are my dupes not planting seeds ? You can see that there is one seed under the farm tile. Any clue how to fix this ?

4 cells is too high for them. They cannot reach tiles so high from floor.

You can make your garden one cell lower (3 cells high is enough for pepper) or you can remove stone tiles above farm tiles to make access from top

I think they cannot reach that far up. Reach is 4 tiles, but the farm tiles are 5 tiles distant from the floor. Try one tile lower? The two they could do, they could reach via the ladder.

You can even see that they planted stuff around the ladder, so it must be range issue... However it might be that they  can't reach any seeds also(if your seed-container is blocked), or a priority issue - farming on \\//
