Feedback: Question: Why does polluted water offgas into polluted oxygen?

Doesn't really make sense that a mass of polluted water can offgas into an equal mass of polluted oxygen. Where does the hydrogen go?

I think this should be changed so that oxygen in contact with a mass of polluted water has a chance to convert into an equal mass of polluted oxygen, and the actual polluted water does not change mass or offgas. If the PW has germs, then the PO will also pick up germs and the PW will have a slight reduction in germ count from that transfer.

 

Edit: I think the same should apply for polluted dirt. Why should it convert its mass into polluted oxygen? Where does the dirt go?

Probably to indicate ’the stench’ or the moisture water emits. Though it being polluted oxygen is a bit weird yes.

By this logic, regular water should offgas into regular oxygen.

I thought about if this could be the endgame goal for oni. Imagine it's an asteroid that is going to crash on the planet and the dupes try to convert it all to oxygen before it hits the planet:D like the movie Armageddon without nukes Bruce Willis a soundtrack by aerosmith and Ben Affleck:D
