I think they meant not to rollback, but to regenerate the world with the same settings (for example autumn stays on long, rain on less etc). You can do a rollback to the first day by generating a new world with the seed of the world you like. I don't know exactely how to do it, but if I'm right in the generating files you have to enable seeding and paste the correct seed to do so. It's called "Regenerate World". Yeah but what OP wants is to be able to do this from the menu, not in the world. Launching the world just to regenerate it is unnecessary and annoying.
