I was kind of hoping for it to be a new material for pumps with increased overheat temperature, but so far it seems to be usable for floortiles and whatnot, but not pumps. And the overheat temperature increase is not exactly an improvement either.

They're still in the process of tweaking it, some of its traits haven't even been activated yet. They also need to update it, because it looks like silver:

Okay in actuality it's more in the purple(ish)-blue spectrum than the steel's teal-blue.

So anybody notice that sand is not only renewable, you can actually make more of it?
Deoderizer makes more clay than the filtration medium. Kiln makes 100 kg of clay into 100 kg ceramic.
Crusher makes 100 kg of ceramic into 100 kg of sand.
