Dark flower sanity farm

I've seen people use a bunch of dark flowers plus a bee queen crown to get a lot of sanity quickly. I assume, the flowers are spawned by dropping some Abigail's flowers in the same place and then they are haunted by a ghost player. Did the devs not change that yet?

They did, but you still can do something similar that is not as broken.

What you used to be able to do was placing an unlimited amount of abigail flowers exactly on the same spot and they would all turn into flowers eventually, which you could also haunt into evil flowers for a completely broken sanity machine. That used to cause not only lag but also issues with world regrowth.

Currently after patch if 2 or more flowers land on the same spot only one will become a flower and the rest wont. Flowers now have a minimum space they can be from eachother. However Wendy can create an area of flowers with that minimum distance, therefore allowing you to cover an area of the ground with as many evil flowers as the game allows, and still obtain the sanity benefits of it.

Any other character can also do a sanity station by planting butterflies, the difference is that manually planting butterflies forces you to respect a longer space between flowers, so when you convert them to evil flowers and stand among them, you are affected by less evil auras each second than you would if it was made with abigail flowers.

Ehh just put a willow under water with bee queen crown and you will have unlimited sanity.
