unixanalyst Posted May 16, 2018 Share Posted May 16, 2018 A few observations and glitches I captured during play: The 'P' key doesn't toggle. It just enters the priorities screen, it doesn't exit it. Dupes not lying on med-beds. Filter gate timer in foreground. I occasionally get this 'Unreachable dig' message when it is reachable and/or it isn't a dig. The sort-by-Health selector doesn't update itself. You have to re-click it each time you go in to the Vitals screen, despite the selector staying selected. The metal refinery queue doesn't show a picture, just a blank white space. Also, I'd like the icons to be bigger in the building queues. They're difficult to see, especially when they're greyed out because of lack of resources. Apparently I have 0.037994 of a nut somewhere. Not very useful to know and makes the data hard to read. Not sure if it's items or calories. Also, some of the item names are too long for the width of the field so they overlap. It would be great to have a standardised unit in the data too, so always kg or tons, not both. Teleporting fish. The two fish in the picture were in bodies of water to the right of where they are now. After reloading they were back in the water. After reloading they were out to these positions again. My hatchling is a building. Also, he looks like a sage hatchling when he's asleep. Tiny baby is pregnant. Dupes seem to get bored of adjusting valves. I've been waiting for 2 weeks for the latest adjustment. This stack of copper ore was left after deconstructing a door. Unassigned med-bed has a progress bar on it. Progress bar on a pipe with no pending task. The viscosity of the water seems to be similar to that of concrete. A handy way to find Nullifiers. Deliberate? My Dupe can heal, heal, rest or rest. She does need to heal, but she doesn't need to heal, rest or rest. Sensor says 'Filter'. The word 'Wheezewort' doesn't fit in the icon. The Consumables screen doesn't pause the game, but jumps around if you don't pause the game. So if you scroll across while the game is running, it keeps jumping back to the left. Levitating, unsweepable bottle. Sort of pending-task ghost. I ordered the build of the joint plate on an existing tile. The task wasn't getting done so I ordered the deconstruction of the tile and had to re-order the plate build. This ghost then appeared. Missing tooltips (see little black square on 'Nice bathroom'). Also, Today's stress breakdown is a skill? 34+15+5+2 = 70,000 Also, would really like a lowest health status indicator up here, like the stress and immunity indicators. Triangle pointing down on a sort-by selector usually means highest at the top. Too many items in the same place to see what's there. Many are repeated. Maybe the info boxes could tile sideways for the same item so we get the idea that there's lots of meal lice there, in different states of decay, but can also see what else is there. So then these info boxes would go: Ladder Sandstone Meal lice, Meal lice, Meal lice... Pincha pepper, Pincha pepper, Pincha pepper... Bit confused. I love that the timer is the same floaty rock, but I still get confused using it. Seeing as the rock picture is fixed, as in it doesn't move, maybe you could add 0%, 25%, 50% and 75% labels at the 12, 3, 6 and 9 o'clock positions, that might help a bit. And maybe a 'Now' label on the red triangle, which I just this second realised means 'now'. Fully charged and connected transformers show 'no power'. Everything down-stream is running. Wow, +0 per second regeneration. A regular Wolverine. Storage fullness indicators on the loaders are in the wrong place. Conveyor rail contents are in the foreground. Sweeper continually picks up a few mcg, despite the receptacle being full and the feeder being empty. (178 mcg just about visible on the receptacle). Adjusting the feeder settings fixes it for a moment, it immediately gets a full load delivered, then it goes back to repeatedly grabbing 178 mcg.
