I did check though.  I had a priority 9 grill requesting an omelette and it was disabled through automation and no one delivered to it.  So that door lock time of day thing will work.

You can set default door access NO passage allowed, and set over-ride for your cook dupe that allows him passage.

we already found the way to cook certain eggs without slavery, but if you like it, why not?
