If, instead of giving 400 w when the dupe is working, a dupe would have to wind it, like a clock, then this task would be time measurable and the skill would apply. So, the generator would "produce" energy as long as it has been winded. Lilalaunekuh Posted May 7, 2018 Share Posted May 7, 2018 I love the idea for some wheels for hatches^^ (even if it´s just 10W to feed auto sweeper and lights) But i found this thread not cause i like that gimmick idea. The manual generator is in a strange state right now, they train tinkering and athletics but none of the skills effects the power generation. A spin up time would mostly hurt early when our dupes switch their tasks more often, so i think adjusting the overall power output (considering the skills) could help. Think of it as duplicants going to gym. Dont chance it imo. Good early game Power and good lategame unemployment meter. But I was just thinking, from a mechanics perspective, that it doesn't make sense for a 20 ath dupe spin the thing same speed a 2 ath dupe, but changing the power wouldn't be right, so, a faster dupe just does it faster...
