It will come, eventually. But there might be more infrastructure needed with it, and therefor it's not in this patch. To much work for just 1 critter, considering how much they actually added.

 

I think this patch, mk1 & 2, where intended to lay the groundwork around critters. - While adding some other interesting parts to the game.

Interestingly keeping Gulpfish in a slush geyser tank results in free 1:1 conversion of polluted water to clean water in the form of ice. As the Ph2o has a lower freeze point than water the Gulpfish is free to swim around without becoming entombed. By freezing into ice, the water emitted by the fish is no longer able to be reconverted back to Ph2o. Adding more Gulpfish would result in faster conversion rates.

I really like the changes.
Visuals are top and audio too.
I like this "sub-production chain" through critterhording.
Those critter diets are a nice addition for me(when they not die..)

Mhh there is additional variation in poop outputs and diets for mapbalance, not a bad thing..
Compared to the tube update, i am more then satisfied ^^
