goboking
I wouldn't mind a seismic sensor that could send signals based on geyser/volcano/fumarole activity. While limited in application, this would give us a bit more flexibility on when and where we pump gasses and liquids during active and dormancy periods. Supraluminal
Interesting. What would that allow you to do that you can't do now with pressure/temp sensors? It seems like those can do the same job pretty easily, at least if you set things up for that purpose. Or if you look, they are a little machine on the volcano/geyser after the analysis, a automation signal can come from here active if it active and inactive if it's dormant Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/89433-recommendation-siesmic-sensors/#findComment-1022900 Share on other sites

Speaking personally, I'd like to siphon off a bit of gas every cycle during active periods so I have more reserves to get me through the lean periods of dormancy. 2 hours ago, Flydo said: Or if you look, they are a little machine on the volcano/geyser after the analysis, a automation signal can come from here active if it active and inactive if it's dormant Yeah, that could work. Or build the sensor so that the art asset fits seamlessly with these instruments. Yeah could be fun, analyse the geyser and only after you can put a sensor on it if you need it. 3 hours ago, goboking said: Speaking personally, I'd like to siphon off a bit of gas every cycle during active periods so I have more reserves to get me through the lean periods of dormancy. Siphon off a bit of gas every cycle and do some math to know how you can use each cycle, take a little less and if you dig large next to your geyser, your reserve naturally slowly increase. It's sure possible with automation do a counter for the geyser but it will be a big chaos of automation gate Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/89433-recommendation-siesmic-sensors/#findComment-1022982 Share on other sites
Jigsawn
Cool idea and how about you can only do it once you research the geyser/volcano/fumarole? Then that gives you another incentive to research it. They should have a similar active/inactive HUD or something similar to the auto battery with an automation output.
