dissolving solid elements in max pressure tiles?

Recommended Posts

They will not release gas under those conditions.

It doesn't need to be 20kg pressure though, and it doesn't have to be a different gas. 2kg of any gas (or any amount of liquid) should prevent offgassing.

Also, as an aside, 20kg is not the max pressure a tile can hold, it's just the max that a high-pressure vent can fill to under normal circumstances. You can get higher pressures by using doors to compress gas (works for liquids too), or by partially submerging even a normal gas vent in a bit of liquid.

also the rate of offgassing seems to be proportional to the pressure.  It gets smaller and smaller the closer to 1.8kgs you get.   Takes forever to get the last few grams when the bleachstone is releasing only micrograms at a time.
