0xFADE
Is there any real reason to analyze it? If it just tells you how long it stays dormant that doesn't really matter. You can't do anything about it. But if it reduced that dormant phase as well then that would be good. Lutzkhie
it will help you to better plan when it goes dormant, for example nat gas geyser, when they become dormant your generator wont run for a few cycles if you know when it will become dormant you can plan ahead and find an alternative which can support your colony power supply later on, same story with water or steam vents you can effectively manage your resources Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/89348-geyser-analyzing/#findComment-1021965 Share on other sites
PhailRaptor
Knowing exactly how long it is "Active" versus "Dormant" is actually super important to optimizing any systems that are running in conjunction with it. In any equation, you need to define as many variables as you can to simplify. This lets you solve for the variables that you don't have. Kabrute
my steamer was dormant a dozen cycles before I noticed, so I analyzed it and seeing as I had to last another 80 cycles on my reserves(my game thus far, all over again) its important that I took my farms off this pond before it became too late of a problem. Now we just have to survive a couple more days Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/89348-geyser-analyzing/#findComment-1022025 Share on other sites
