water sieve input bug?

I recall in the past putting clean water in the input would cause wrong element damage.

I just screwed up on my piping and now its feeding clean and polluted water into the input, but its not saying damage, its just letting the clean threw and cleaning the dirty.

Is this a bug or a change to how it works?

It's how the sieve works.  Clean water just passes through.

Note that it does not get any temp change applied, so hot clean water is still hot when it comes out.

awsome, ive been making sure in my pipes till now NOT to let any clean in cause last time i did that before now it took wrong element damage LOL.

This was changed long ago. Water sieve was passing water through since agricultural update or maybe even earlier.

I didn't know this either and have been wasting power on filters - it would be good if the building description mentioned that.

Have you guys ever had a problem where the sieve skyrocketed in temp and then put out water at 104F?

the water outputs at a set temp, that's normal

water sieve always outputs at 40C or 104F
