Lutzkhie
i haven't really used ore scrubber coz i never really go to the slime biome but recently i decided to go there and dig some slime which i shared few hours ago and im kinda confused with this "supply of chlorine" Do i have to keep them supplied with chlorine all the time? or Do i have to fill them just once? dankusnher
They consume a certain amount per use Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/88925-a-quick-question/#findComment-1017794 Share on other sites
Neotuck
like how the hydrogen generator consumes hydrogen for power, the ore scrubber consumes chlorine to kill germs. Personally I don't like it as the amount of germs killed is limited per use, I would rather temporary store germ ore in a chlorine filled room Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/88925-a-quick-question/#findComment-1017797 Share on other sites

I just setup an ore scrubber but it was slow and when 2-3 dupes pass some skip it when other dupe uses it. (i could set up 3 but didnt do it) So filled a room but chlorine but dupes go grab it before it gets completely desinfected. Lutzkhie
i usually fill the room with chlorine above 1.8kg pressure slime wont be emitting polluted water do conveyors allow slime to emit polluted oxygen? They do not. A better solution is to store under PW in ice biome....kills slime in a couple cycles. Make sure dupes who dig in the swamp and dupes who fertilize the dust caps are restricted from each other so slime won't bypass the conveyor Other way is to setup a puft stable, some reason puft poop doesn't have slimelung (this might change soon, if it does do the same thing as above^) 4 pufts can support up to 88 dust caps 5 minutes ago, chemie said: 1.8kg pressure slime wont be emitting polluted water I assume you mean polluted oxygen? 6 minutes ago, chemie said: do conveyors allow slime to emit polluted oxygen? I just checked and YES they do, in the picture the slime is moving on conveyor rails only and I started with a vacuum. cpy
Slime biome? How about bugged puft slime biome? I had 15M-60M slimelung germs per block! Wanted to see what happens when I just let dupe walk there and back. Almost instant slimelung, down to 0 in 2 seconds Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/88925-a-quick-question/#findComment-1017823 Share on other sites

Cold kills slimelung and PW stops gasing and wont freeze Interesting on conveyors. There were patch notes which specifically said they did not. Moggles
Items on conveyor rails give off gas but you can avoid that by running the rails behind tiles. While inside tiles they will not give off gas. Bleach stone, slime etc. @Neotuck. @chemie Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/88925-a-quick-question/#findComment-1017900 Share on other sites

Lutzkhie
i was testing the ore scrubber and the 10kg chlorine inside the scrubber doesn't deplete at all and i dont think its a bug but its intended, and its makes sense, if you use an ore scrubber the chlorine inside is only used to "Kill" the germs your not taking any chlorine from the scrubber. Lutzkhie
but it does more sensible if chlorine never goes down coz where would chlorine go? are they just delete? if you leave a slime in a room full of chlorine the germs die and the chlorine is still the same thing as before the ore scrubber just speed up the process of "killing" germs i really hope they make it into a feature instead of fixing it Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/88925-a-quick-question/#findComment-1018059 Share on other sites

The bug is it shows 10Kg even when empty, I have sent a report Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/88925-a-quick-question/#findComment-1018061 Share on other sites
