smiling dupes when can i get happy dupes apart from early bird dupes?

spawn a dupe and wait for them to smile. it never comes even if they have gas, only if they have early bird then they smile for 1 minute (or 30 seconds on fast mode). i think dupes should smile if their under 10% stress.

happiness makes the player feel good, so maybe smiling would be a visual representation?

I am pretty sure I have seen dupes smile before afterwards, but it is literally for a brief moment, I do think that it would be good to have dupes smiling though when their needs are met, I.E Mess hall Bonus, Bathroom Bonus and stuff.

If you get a lucky roll on one of the neural devices you'll end up giving them sunny disposition; they'll always smile and skip instead of running.

Thank you!  Dupes used to smile all the time (while on the way to do jobs). Then they would be straight-faced while working.  It was perfect.

I will never choose an early bird because they look creepy in the mornings.  They just smile all the time no matter what.

Smiling/Frowning dups could actually have an effect on other Dups.  Emotional states are contagious after all.  When a dupes sees another dupe expressing their pre-response animations (at about 60%) that should give them a bit of stress or at least count as negative decor.
