Irontaco Posted February 11, 2013 Share Posted February 11, 2013 It was a lovely day. Wendy woke up next to her campfire and stretched her arms. What a good day, she thought. Maybe now i can cut all those trees with Julian and Porky. She went to her huge forest and started peacefully cutting trees with the pair of pigs. It seemed that with that ammount of logs that were falling from the trees, she wouldn't ever need to worry about keeping the three campfires she had alive! Suddenly, there was silence. One of the pigs gave a loud scream and then there was the sound of leaves. Julian was thrown in the air and landed next to Wendy, with a huge slash on his chest, barely concious. Wendy, surprised by this, looked at what might have done that to the poor, now dying pig-gentleman. There it was. A big tree with limbs that was as big as a two-story house, and as wide as a small shack. She heard Porky be launched into the air and his scream of pain. The other pig was dead, and now two enormous treeguards were surrounding her. Out of anger, she hit both with her axe. What would she do? She had fought a single once before. It wasn't hard. Pig-men had distracted the huge tree man while she hit him from behind that day. But now she had no pig-men to distract the huge tree humanoids. ''What shall i do now? They will lose their aggro after a bit, and become friendly wanderers. Just don't cut trees near them, or they'll became angry again. You can try to pick up some of those pinecones, I'm pretty sure they're still tamable even after you've hit them. Or lead them away from the traps a bit then run back to the traps and reset them. Again, they're pretty slow, use that to your advantage. Trying to do kiting but his buddy protects him from it.Poor little girl, her sister didn't even come to assist her.If you get something else to agro them like tentacles or pigs even, they will lose interest in you until you hit them or you chop a tree close enough. Using her previously made tooth traps, a quickly made torch and her prototype of a spear, she had finally won. For the first time in years she jumped in happyness. She went to look for her backpack which she left next to the food she had quickly stored on it to eat after the fight, all the food she had in her camp was in there.''I killed them...But at what price?''Her forest was burned by the panicking treeguard after being set on fire. The fire had spread to her bag and from the bag to the berry bushes. Her camp was half destroyed. What would she do now? She was devastated once again.------------------------I love you Klei. You made a game that hates me and my bravery and now seriously got me. I got not too much stuff to eat and my bushes are gone. The fire nearly spread to my saplings.EDIT: Just saw my backpack. It doesn't burn. But i had remember i HAD left my food on the ground on accident and it DID burn down.
