Kittie885 Posted February 24, 2018 Share Posted February 24, 2018 I have a steam turbine set to be built and i've waited seemingly forever but none of my dupes are building it. It sits there saying "Awaiting specialist". I have plastic and When I hover over those words it says it only needs an electrical engineer which I have several yet nobody has come to build it, even though they have already built everything AROUND it AND there are no other builds queued up anywhere on the map. WiDOWZ Posted February 25, 2018 Share Posted February 25, 2018 Check to make sure the dupe assigned is specialized and assigned the job to the degree needed, its not enough they mastered it if you reassign them to another job. Also try making sure they have access and place it in top priority just incase. Sorry, these are the only things that come to my mind. A screenshot would probably help otherwise. Print screen won't work and the buttons in the game that are supposed to work don't do anything. That being said I looked at some pictures of other people's steam turbines and they have theirs built directly above water without anything underneath them, while I was trying to build mine on top of a row of ladders. They stil have no issue farming, digging abyssalite, creating art, and running around in exosuits. I would have spent days trying to figure out how to get it built and it would have just ended in pure frustration. I'll just cancel it and use the geyser for something else!
