Hatch doors that open vertically!

Ehh... you know you can rotate doors right?  And your dupes can go through the bottom/top of a door anyway even on a normal door, such as if you set up a 3 way door via insetting it into the floor or ceiling.  The only difference would purely be aesthetic unless you specifically made it a 1x1 door tile.  And even that would only create a very minor use case in that you could have a 1 wide profile door that doesn't interrupt ladder travel significantly.  Not that it is needed, because the dupe would just jump up onto the nearby floor tile anyway before hopping back on the ladder.

Yeah, I wish they would just suck it up and put in a 1-wide hatch already.  Horizontal doors are janky.

1-wide and turns to ladder when open so dupes don't have to jump over it. I'd like such hatch.

1x1 tile, only for vertical movement, has a built in ladder and the top works as floor tile. It also needs the same variations as the regular doors have.

Yep, I'd love a 1 tile wide hatch. Of course you can't call it a hatch because there's an animal with that name, so they could just call it "Trap Door". 1 tile wide, can be placed over ladders  and counts as a wall in determining "room" spaces.
