I think you should be able to use different items to make the same item, i.e. the hair could be made into rope, so could silk.

So instead of making a human effigy out of beard hairs, making a beefalo effigy out of beefalo hairs?Allthough that might be useless killing multiple beefaloos to make one new guy.Maybe make him different? Like a zombie because you can't recreate them perfectly?

Hair can be made into strings using a spinning wheel.Just not as fine as sheep wool though.But with string means possibility of making bows?

I think the epic beard should light on fire and deal damage to Wilson from an out of control campfire, just like a forest fire. Incentive to shave or keep trimmed at least.

Hmmm, since seasons are going to be added....maybe beefalo hair (or wool) can be used with rope and silk to make a 'winter coat' that doesn't break down over time but takes up your 'chest' slot keeps you warm (lowering your hunger consumption in winter since now you don't have to worry about keeping yourself warm as much) but if you take fire damage while wearing it you burst into flames, or, take double damage from the huge amount of heat

I meant the longest beard, the epic beard. The first two wouldn't have that happen.And true beardedness comes from the heart. I've seen some men who can't even grow facial hair with beards so full in their hearts that Abraham Lincoln would be hard pressed to deny.Fun fact, Vikings thought going on a voyage with a shaven man was bad luck.
